The Aims & Objectives of Yoga Retreats


The primary aims and objectives of the Yoga Retreats in Rishikesh, India at our yoga school, Yoga Vidya Mandiram  are to provide an understanding of yoga and its different exercises and practices at basic to intermediate and then to the advance levels of students in a friendly and peaceful environment. These Yoga Retreats present an easy and systematic approach of learning yoga including yogic knowledge and their practices. Usually these Yoga Retreats 1 to 2 weeks. In these Yoga Retreats, our school provides a quality yoga training, food and accommodation. The Yoga Retreats fees varies from $700 – $1400USD.

Certified Yoga Retreats

At our yoga School Yoga Vidya Mandiram in Rishikesh, India we provide certified yoga retreats. After the successfully completing the program the students will receive a course certification.

Yoga Retreats Curriculum


Mantra recitation (mantra – Japa), daily joints and glands practices (granthi – vimochana – kriya), yoga postures (yoga asanas), meditative steps of doing asanas, six cleansing exercises (shat karma), science of breath (pranayama), yoga energy locks (Bandha) and yoga gestures (Mudra), meditation (Dhyana), yogic sleep (yoga Nidra), history and philosophy of yoga (yoga Darshana), yogic anatomy and physiology of human body, basic principles of Ayurveda, asana alignment practicum classes, yoga teaching practice, and teaching methodology. Yoga psychology enhance the students’ learning at various levels; mentally and emotionally by which they learn to adopt the yogic disciplines in daily life.
